Bus to Show’s Mission: to reduce intoxicated driving to and from high-risk events while simultaneously building a community among event-goers and raising funds for other causes by organizing and/or providing  sober transportation in the form of bus parties.

Since we began in 2007, we have organized transportation for over 10,000 partiers each year and delivered them home safely at the end of the night.  Correspondingly, DUIs in Boulder (the test plot) have plummetted by over 30%. That’s a total of 836 fewer DUIs over the three years, than Boulder was on pace for before we came around.   Sounds like a lot.  It is.  See for yourself on the Boulder Police Crime Stats Site (scroll down to DUIs).

Of course, we have not done this alone.  It has been the conscious decision of every rider to fork over the membership money and get on the bus.  Recently, several organizations have started to take it upon themselves to help us reduce the riders’ financial burden of making that decision.
