Fire on the Mountain has been apart of the thriving Denver restaurant scene since 2012 w/ the opening of our Highlands location. We love our city’s innovative spirit, delicious food, rich history, & vibrant music/arts scene so much that we opened a 2nd location in 2019 in the beautiful Wash Park neighborhood!
We pride ourselves on responsible food sourcing, serving only cage-free, antibiotic-free chicken & free-range, Colorado grown beef. We are also committed to sustainability… we compost all food scraps (meat, bones, everything) & we only use compostable boxes, ramekins, cups, & napkins. We recycle all cardboard, paper, glass, plastic, & metal. Through these practices we divert about 75% of our restaurants waste stream out of the landfill. In addition, we support LOCAL!!! We recycle our used cooking oil locally, support numerous local food purveyors, we serve beer & spirits from several local breweries & distilleries, support our local artists, musicians, & nonprofits!
Fire on the Mountain strives to be a positive force in our community! Through our Feast & FUNdraise program & other philanthropic efforts, we’ve donated over $750,000 to the Denver community since we’ve opened in 2012. We support local schools with food donations, pay our staff to volunteer for causes that are important to them, & fundraise for non-profits that are working toward the health of people, animals, & the planet.
