What we collect: Just what's needed to get you to the show — name, contact info (email and phone #), date of birth (for age verification), and your order history. If you log in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from them.
Payments: We never see your credit card number. Stripe handles that securely.
Data Sharing: We never sell your data. We share your name with our venue partners only so they can check you in when you arrive. We might share anonymous "stats" (like "40 people came from Boulder") with partners and sponsors to keep our buses running.
Security: We use industry-standard security measures, including encrypted passwords and secure connections.
Your Choice: You only get marketing emails if you check the "opt-in" box. You can ask us to delete your data anytime by emailing privacy@bustoshow.org.

Bus to Show, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect and use your information when you use our website and transportation services. By using our service, you agree to the terms outlined here.

Account Data: Name, email address, phone number, password, preferred location, and date of birth.
Third-Party Login: If you register or log in using Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from that provider. We do not receive your password from these services.
Order Data: Information required for ticketing, including check-in names, postal code (for analysis or logistics), and records of guardian permission for riders under 18.
Payment Data: All payments are processed via Stripe. We store only Stripe-provided identifiers. We do not store or see raw credit card or bank account numbers.
Automated Data: We use essential cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use third-party tracking pixels (like Facebook or Google).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
Process ticket orders and verify your identity at the bus.
Ensure safety and compliance with our membership and waiver terms.
Communicate updates regarding your specific trip.
Send marketing materials only if you have explicitly opted in.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
For Check-in: We share your first and last name with our partners/sponsors at your destination exclusively to facilitate the check-in process. These partners are not authorized to store or use this data for any other purpose.
Aggregate Data: We may share anonymized, statistical data (e.g., "Number of riders from a specific zip code") with sponsors or for grant reporting. This data cannot identify you personally.
Service Providers: We use cloud hosting service providers to facilitate our services. These providers are bound by contract to protect your data.
Legal Necessity: We will share data if required by law or to protect the safety of our riders.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted password storage, secure connections (HTTPS), and access controls for our systems. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Minors (Under 18)
Users must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Riders aged 16 and 17 must provide verified parental/guardian permission via email to reservations@bustoshow.org prior to boarding. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
7. Your data Rights (Access & Deletion)
Regardless of your location, we provide the following rights to all users:
Access: You may request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Deletion: You may request that we delete your account and personal information. Note: We may retain certain data as required for legal/tax audits or safety records.

8. Data Retention
We retain user and order data indefinitely to allow for easy re-booking and historical reporting, unless an explicit deletion request is made.
