My name is Phil Leonowens and I go by Havok (purposefully spelled with a 'k')

I'm a DJ from Guatemala who's been playing in Colorado for 6 years now playing with the likes of Terravita, Party Favor, Omega, and Crizzly. My heart beats at 128 because I love house music so much so I love incorporating house elements into my multi-genre sets which I have span twerk, moombahton, trap, house, hip hop and drum and bass. Currently I play out a lot of the bars around town including more frequently, Boulder House with DJ Knives on select Saturdays of every month, and occasional shows at the Fox theater. I've been with bus to show since 2014, and during the day I am a software engineer at Solidfire on pearl street

Sassfactory

The first thing you might notice when meeting Emma Badman (AKA Sassfactory) is her accent. It’s an uncommon mix of British and Bostonian, and like the rest of her, combines unexpected qualities into a completely unique sound. She’s sassy, a bit sarcastic, and keenly aware of what music makes people have a good time. It’s all music you can dance to, the kind that gets your toes tapping without you even realizing; the soundtrack you might meet your first love to, while on the dance floor, with laser beams framing their face and panda bears dancing onstage in the background. Sassfactory… it’s kinda like that.

Sassfactory also DJs under the name “Queen B” for Boulder hip-hop duo Glitta Kings.

Bowzr

Andrew Bower is not exactly the fire breathing, princess-stealing dragon from the Mario series (actually, he might have those qualities but that is another story). In fact, most waking hours are spent either behind the lens or behind the screen.  With drive summoned from fanatic nerdism, Bowzr strives to perfect his craft in all forms of composition, whether it be the crowd losing their minds in the lower-third or evoking powerful emotion through the flow of bass music.

Bowzr's goal is simple, to put in happiness, hope, and a little more empathy into a world struck with blind hatred and ignorance that can be crushed with knowledge. As a journalist, he is well trained in directing a situation to place him in the best part to capture the story of the night. He has a natural knack for falling into opportunities that crave his multi-layered skill-set with graphic design, photo/videography, and audio production. With a talent core of close friends and ever-expanding ear skills, Bowzr is primed to become not just a person, but an entire concept built around a team. A dedicated, experienced team that will one day be the pinnacle of modern-day electronic music production.

Radio Flyer

Radio Flyer is the solo mission of one of Boulder's all time great electronic music producers, Harry Watkins.  You know him from his work as half of the duo, Proper Motion. Now you can listen as he formulates some new and exciting musical concepts.  Some of what he is doing here is testing grounds for what may later become Proper Motion tracks.  A lot of it, is unique to Radio Flyer.  One of the most exciting things that occurs any time an established musician produces work as a solo act, is that we get a feel for their individual stylings, making it easier to recognize and pick out the contributions they make to the larger sound.  In addition, the pressure of creating music with a specific fan base in mind is greatly diminished, allowing Harry the freedom to try things that he may not feel are appropriate to do as part of Proper Motion.  In other words, anything goes and his own creativity and technical ability are the only limitations on what is possible.  Fortunately, this with Radio Flyer, sky's the limit.

I love hitting the studio and getting up on some drums to warm up. I was vending a show in Chicago at the Abbey pub and I looked around with the music and all my friends ripping up the dance floor and it was then and there I decided to start playing music live also.  The next day I purchased some DJ software for my computer and a few days later made it to same ash and picked up my first mixer.  I have been seeing live DJ shows and festivals for about 10 years now.

Exxc!tement

Exxc!tement is a motivated group of “boredom-fighters” looking to change things up a bit. Hard work shines for this DJ/Producer duo, members Briar Watson and Tyler Manning both came from a small town in Indiana, before they hit The Mile High City in 2012 and formed their electronic, trap, dubstep and bass project “Exxc!tement”.  They also founded and created an event production service company “Forward Momentum Productions” aka @formopromoyo in which they book full productions with an impressive and revolving artist/DJ selection.  If safe to say, this talented pair not only knows how to rock incredible DJ/Producer live sets, but they can throw one badass party. #forwardmomentum

Dillon Fox (DIELON)

Born and raised in Colorado, currently residing in Denver,  Dillon Fox has been addicted to making and manipulating music since he was just a kid.  His SoundCloud displays his own originally produced tunes with mixes sprinkled in on top of them. Dillon Fox's live sets typically include crunk/bass music with an intermingling of hip0hop, balancing and blending intelligent music with heavy beats.  His Influences include kLL sMTH, Quanta, Gramatik, Pretty Lights, Pantyraid, Phutureprimitive, Trevor Kelly.

Damnesia-Vu

“The name Damnesia-vu (aka) DMVU is an Adult Swim allusion that roughly translates to “Damned to forget”, but this New Hampshire born artist is one you’ll remember. The young soundbender mastery of sub frequencies is acutely memorable. Matthew Philpott-Jones’s passion for bass music at 140bpm manifests viscerally in his production. The DJ/Producer now calls Colorado “home”, but with releases on FatKidOnFire, Encrypted Audio, & DUBANIMALS, DMVU journeys through dubstep’s deepest realms that are captivating audiences internationally. Damnesia-vu’s innovation of classic deep dubstep styles are carving him a home in the genre’s future history. His work with US mainstays, Sub(dot)mission, Mile High Sound Movement, and Family Moons are indicative of the artists’ leading role in the shifting stateside underground. 

Godlazer

GODLAZER is an experience. A sociological experiment that unites beings through light,energy, and bass. Together we come to dance, get down, and celebrate existence. This project has involved many people and continues to emit positive waves lead by front man Christopher Caligaris.  Armed with an armada of live instruments, DJ equipment and live vocals. The sound heard can best be described as Live Instrumental Electronic Bass Music. Help keep the lazers on melt and be a part of a movement for peace, togetherness, and melt your face beats.

DJ Rex

Rex Buchanan is a DJ / Producer from the mile high city. During his time on the decks he has held a residencies at Beta Nightclub / Beatport Lounge, Club Vinyl and many other top rated venues, he has performed on the main stage of Red Rocks Amphitheater as the DJ for Sunsquabi at Global Dance Festival 2011 and he has opened for many world renowned acts including: Pretty Lights, LMFAO, Black Eyed Peas, Empire of the Sun, Griz, Benny Benassi, Big Gigantic, Innerpartysystem, Green Velvet, Manufactured Superstars, Bad Boy Bill, DJ Icey, Donald Glaude, Calvertron, Kids at the Bar, Darth & Vader, DJ Vajra, LAZRtag, The Faint, Air Dubai and Ben Samples among others. Rex provides DJs for private events with sound and lighting equipment as well as DJ and music production lessons through his company, Discosapien, and his recording studio, Elevation Sound.
